Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program

Did you know Prescott participates in the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP)?! The FFVP is a grant opportunity for your school that provides children with free FRESH fruits and vegetables during the school day. The goals of the FFVP is to create healthier school environments by providing healthier food choices, expand the variety of fruits and vegetables children experience, increase children’s fruit and vegetable consumption and make a difference in children’s diet to impact their present and future health

Thank You McDonough Foundation

Thank you to the James B. and Melita A. McDonough Foundation

Thank You to the McDonough Foundation for a grant of $9,850 to purchase a mobile learning lab. We purchased 25 iPads for the mobile learning lab. This mobile learning lab will support our students’ development in all elementary curriculum areas by providing access to educational applications, tools for creating videos and presentations. Creating and collaborating using digital tools, in this case, iPads, expands our students’ learning environment to a global level.
