Ms. McCarron is moving onto her next adventure. To honor her, the staff and students created this slideshow. We can’t thank her enough for the impact she has made on the students, staff and families at Prescott.

Congratulations to our Distinguished Dolphin Award Winners  Tajanay, Kiki , Ella, Angleen and Alyson.  The award was given to students who are recognized for their citizenship and service to their home, school and community.

Thank you to Kennedy Elementary School students for your generous donation of playground equipment to our school.

Thank you to Theisen’s and the Greater Dubuque Foundation for a grant to purchase 2 new computers for our literacy lab.

Ms. Recker took grades K, 1, 2, 3, and 5 to the Carnegie-Stout Library to view their art and the Prescott Art Show during art class. The art show ends Thursday April 12th.

Please stop by  the Prescott Art Show at the Carnegie-Stout Library (lower level)! The exhibit will be up until April 7th.

STUDENTS FEATURED AT ART SHOW

Congratulations to Sharlynn, Liam, Kamarie, Maddie, Antonio, Kiki. and Maniyah. Their artwork was selected to represent Prescott School at a student art show at the Dubuque Museum of Art. This show will be on display from now until April 1^st in the lower level of the museum. This show features art from all of Dubuque Community Elementary Schools .

There is a reception for the artists Thursday March 10 from 5-6:30pm. Everyone is welcome to come.

Our 3rd graders are helping out the water crisis in Flint, Michigan. They are collecting bottled water and baby wipes to help. If you would like to donate bottled water or baby wipes, please drop it off to Prescott by February 24th.
