Prescott Elementary School will host its annual Soup Luncheon fundraiser on Tuesday, Dec. 20, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the school. The event will also feature a silent auction for attendees.
The recommended donation is $15 and tickets can be reserved in person at the school office or by calling the main office at (563)552-4200. Tickets are also available at the door the day of the event.
Dine-in meals or take-out orders are available for the meal, which features Olive Garden soup donated by the local restaurant and takeout bowls and utensils donated by the Dubuque Chik-Fil-A.
This annual event features student performances during the meal, which is also served by students. Funds raised support arts programming at Prescott, including the all-school musical, fieldwork, guest experts and PanrythmiX (the school’s steel drum ensemble).
Open to any student who resides in the Dubuque Community School District, Prescott delivers curriculum through an expeditionary-learning model that places heavy emphasis on experiential, problem-based learning with integration of the arts.
